No resolutions, no regrets

Good morning. January 31 – already.. That went by very quickly. I sat on day one thinking about what is most important and made a bullet point list of items. I did not set resolutions but rather considered my life and what it is that I would like to have more of as part of my journey. This is not a list of things I must do in order to achieve _______________. These are things that I knew made me happy and brought me great joy, so I wanted to remind myself to not let these opportunities slip away. I’m sitting here looking at the list and feeling pretty amazing. I had an awesome month.

Lose a few lbs this year through a balanced lifestyle โฃ๏ธ๐Ÿฅฆ๐Ÿค๐ŸŽ‚ up .6 from January 1st.

The last thing on the list, and rightfully so is my weight. I lost and gained 5 lbs this month and ended up .6 heavier than when I started which is over my free lifetime goal. I have not paid much attention to my weight for several months and a few lbs have landed and I’ve decided I want them gone. So I will make the effort and listen to my body more than I have been lately.

Have a magnificent Monday. As we transition from January to February, remember where your value lies. It is not the number on the scale, that I am sure of! Remember what is most important to you. Focus on those things. The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. Find your stone and build from there! Who knows what’s around the bend, but I can’t wait to find out!   1. You are so good Theresa! Glad to see your blog. I have been maintaining my weight within +/- 3 Percent for the last 11 coming up on 12 years. You are right it is not the number on the scale that counts unless you are in the Doctor’s office and those darn nurses always insist on weighing us! LOL I think things are going well for you and I miss seeing those cute pics of the baby, but he isn’t a baby anymore. Susiemt

  2. This posting was so comforting… it truly was the you I came to know on SP.
    I need to add “Mindfulness” to all my daily choices… working to eliminate those auto-actions, they have such a great ability to sabotage my better intentions.
    Looking forward to your next post. May you have a great February.. well I always want all your days, months, years to be great but for now I will wish weeks and months individually.
    75HealthyMe feels so very lucky to have the memories that I have.. and the hopes and dreams yet to be reached.
